bought a new book.

When I moved out here, I searched fervently for a DQ. All they have is damn Tasti D-Lite, PinkBerry and Red Mango. Perhaps with all my unemployed time, I’ll map out a train route to get the nearest DQ in North Bergen, NJ.
So...I'm thinking about making a pretty big change...

I know. Revolutionary. But seriously, I haven’t used a public library since I was in, like, 8th grade. I was racking up too many fines because I’m genetically unable to return anything on time. This disability is also why I’ve pretty much stopped renting movies.

Is that I can get up at 6am and know that the rest of the world has already been up for hours. It kills me. I instantly feel behind. Or like I’ve been missing out. I HATE missing out.
The hardest thing about adjusting to life on the East Coast was having to wait until 11:00 at night to see the local nightly news. Nobody understood that 11:00 was clearly past my bedtime.

I came down with a small case of the flu yesterday - chills, fever - and a little bout of throwing up toward the end of the day. I was fairly miserable but managed to sleep through most of it.
This morning I woke up feeling better but soon discovered that the red headed step child of the flu was rearing...

have nested in a fire escape somewhere near me. i have yet to determine where. this afternoon, if i’m feeling limber, i’ll be climbing out in an attempt to locate it.
the question is this - is it wrong to knock the nest down, if there aren’t babies in it? because come on - pigeons in nyc are no better than rats. but there’s some small piece of pigeon lover inside me that...
