our best friends from MN come to visit tomorrow. we’ve got the itinerary laid out below and you’re all welcome to join. except for the 475 square feet we have will already be occupied by 4 people. i’m sure the soup kitchen down the street has some availability.
Wednesday, March 11
- Walk to Katz’s Deli for lunch.
- Take 6 Uptown to Met – tour Met
- Go into Central Park @ 77th Street (Fountain, Strawberry Fields, Path to South End)
- Walk down to Rockefeller Center
- Back to East Village for Dinner
- Nuyorican Poets Café Slam @ 9:00
Thursday, March 12
- Head downtown for 10:00 ferry to Ellis Island
- Walk over to Ground Zero
- 4:45 Tour @ LES Tenement Museum: Irish Family
- Back Home for Dinner
- Subway to Times Square – walk around
- Drinks in Hell’s Kitchen (PORT 41)
- After dinner snacks at TIMES SQAURE MCDONALDS - WHERE EVERY NIGHT IS NEW YEARS EVE!! (for real, this is their slogan)
Friday, March 13
- Go to MOMA with Krik – leave East Village @ 10:00
- Back to East Village for lunch @ Tuck Shop
- Joe Conference call @ 3:15
- Train to Seaport for TKTS booth
- Spend afternoon around neighborhood
- Walking Tacos @ HOME
- Out in East Village for Drinks
Saturday, March 14
- Walk to Washington Square Park, Chelsea, Village etc.
- Matinee, Broadway play
- Dinner in Chinatown – Soup Dumplings Place
- Drinks
Sunday, March 15
- 10:00 Brunch @ Prune
- Visit Cloisters in the late afternoon (leave @ 2:00)
- Sylvia’s for dinner
Monday, March 16th
· Walk across Brooklyn Bridge
