So…I’m thinking about making a pretty big change in my life…

….by getting a library card.

I know.  Revolutionary.  But seriously, I haven’t used a public library since I was in, like, 8th grade.  I was racking up too many fines because I’m genetically unable to return anything on time.  This disability is also why I’ve pretty much stopped renting movies.

Anyway, since I have a new name, I’m thinking I can avoid the [likely] hundreds of dollars of fines I managed to acquire under my maiden name AND save money on books.  Because, when you finish a book in just a few days, it’s hard to justify regularly spending $20/book at Barnes & Noble.

So…does anyone use libraries anymore?

I personally love public libraries! I could spend an entire afternoon in there - no problem. Its a great money saver & for me, there’s just something really enjoyable about being there! I say do it!

um, kels. i would avoid the public library on 50th and lyndale. if you do recall, we rented a book on CD there for our easter trip home in 2007 - and we used your library card. bad news is, the book on CD is still in my car.

nothing like bein’ honest.
